Continuation as a Statewide Family Network Grantee
TFCC continues to lead as a Statewide Family Network Grantee, empowering small family-run organizations working on the DC Youth Move Chapter. A Youth Development Lead Specialist will be coming on board very soon to lead in development.

The interview was conducted with Ms. DeShuna Spencer, CEO of Liu Karama Productions, LLC and Founder/Publisher of emPower magazine. The broadcast focused upon Ms. Avent's development of the TFCC organization and her involvement in promoting family and youth advocacy for systemic change throughout the District.
Certified Peer Specialist Training
Anticipation is growing as we look towards the upcoming Certified Peer Specialist Training provided by Department of Behavior Health. Classes will take place from June 2 to July 11, 2014.
