How can you help?
To schedule a time to volunteer, please fill out our volunteer application and contact our Secretary at 202-249-1000.
All volunteers must be able to multitask. We are looking for a self starter, someone who can thrive in a diverse environment, people person, team player, someone willing to jump in and help with any project, and someone who is active. Also volunteers must pass background check and child registry checks.
Our volunteers range in age from high school students, college students and adults from many schools and businesses around the Washington, D.C. metro area.
Volunteering at Total Family Care Coalition creates a bridge that helps people connect across a sometimes separated region. It helps shape our community and allows people to live their values and be apart of something wonderful.
Our ability to serve the community is based on the hard work of our volunteers and many supporters.
If you are scheduled and DO NOT show up for your shift, we CAN NOT serve the community to the best of our ability.
24-hour canceling or rescheduling notice is required. In the event that you are unable to come in for your volunteer shift, please contact our Secretary so that Total Family Care Coalition can make other arrangements.
